When working in a confined space, there will be many unsafe factors such as suffocation, high-altitude falling, high temperature heat stroke, etc. In order to ensure the personal safety of employees, necessary safety measures must be taken for the internal parts of the plate tower, mainly including the following points:
1. After installing the auxiliary ladder on the tower, install the tower internals. When installing, it must be done in sections from bottom to top. When installing the bottom trays of each section, safety measures must be taken to ensure the safety of personnel. When filling the tower, the lifting tool must be safe and reliable, and the staff must be in a safe position.
2. Clean rubber-soled shoes should be worn during construction in the tower. The center of gravity should not be placed on the tower plate, but should stand on the beam or wooden board; the sealing surface of the manhole, the manhole cover and the bottom of the tower should be protected. Measures, the homeowner breaks the blockage; when handling and installing in and out, it should be handled with care to avoid collision, dirt, deformation and damage. After the construction of each tray is completed, it is necessary to check whether there are tools left in the tower. After the tower body has passed the pressure test and is cleaned, the installation of internal parts can be carried out.
3. The operator must conduct an oxygen test before entering the tower, and leave the work card in the information bag near the manhole;
4. When installing the tower internals, if it is hot in midsummer, be sure to do a good job of preventing heatstroke and cooling down. When personnel work in the tower, ventilation measures should be taken. If necessary, fans should be installed at the upper and lower two holes to enhance air convection.
5. The working hours should avoid the high temperature period around noon. When the high temperature is reasonably allocated, the working hours of the operators in the tower: try to work in the tower from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning; from 9:00 to 11:00, the operators need to clean the internal parts outside the tower next; 00-4:00 Clean internal parts; work inside the tower from 4:00 to 7:00. Operators should leave the tower every 1 hour to rest and breathe fresh air.
6. When the operator works in the tower, there must be full-time security personnel outside the tower. Safety officers are responsible for formulating on-site safety technical regulations and on-site equipment safety operation regulations. Protect the safety of the staff in the tower and prevent them from passing out due to heat stroke.
7. The personnel inside the tower must keep in touch with the full-time security outside the tower at any time, and be equipped with walkie-talkies. Is it better to choose packed tower or plate tower? This article introduces you in detail:
When the tower diameter is larger, the plate tower should be used. The cost of a plate column is calculated based on the area of the plate and decreases as the diameter of the column increases. The cost of a tower is proportional to its volume. Small-diameter packed towers (below 0.8m) are generally lower than plate towers. A large-diameter plate tower can improve its efficiency, and a large-diameter packed tower will make it more difficult to distribute the liquid evenly, and the efficiency will decrease. Maintenance of large pallets is easier than cleaning of packaging.
When the number of mass transfer units or theoretical trays required is large, and the number of towers is very high, tray towers should be used. In this case, if a packed column is used, it must be divided into many segments and redistributed the liquid many times. Otherwise, the liquid will be unevenly distributed, and the liquid or gas will flow through the channel, which will affect the thermal efficiency.
If heat must be removed from the column, a tray column should be used. Because it is easier to install cooling pipes on the tray. Tray towers can accommodate smaller liquid flows. If a filler is used at this time, it is more likely to cause insufficient wetting of the filler. Tray towers are suitable for treating liquids containing suspended solids, and the packing layer is easily blocked by suspended solids. The plate tower is convenient for side discharge.
